To all those involved with this comprehensive, well researched, well written and damning report and accompanying film, the utmost respect especially the brave soul who was behind enemy lines for a whole year.
HLS workers are supposed to be these brave champions of science risking their lives, so the public are told, so that [...]

The only argument that vivisectors, factory farmers and others who kill animals resort to is the human supremist one which states that animals are inferior, property, something as opposed to someone. The animals at HLS, Sequani, Safepharm, Covance, Bantin and Kingman and all the other hellish places are left without any human being present [...]

After some netcu related hilarity during the past few days demonstrations at Harlan, HLS Wooley and HLS Occold we took PCs Bacon and the officer we know as “Dave” in to the main Cambridgeshire Police Headquarters. And a police officer dropped a real clanger.
Please address all complaints regarding NETCU policing policy not to the PO [...]

“Persons Unknown” (the illusive terrorist group) made a special visit to seal the deal in the latest SHAC trial. Whoever these persons unknown are they sure to drop us in it time and time again. Apparently the defence were part of a group which torched cars, used blackmail and intimidation to further the campaign against [...]

I have been looking at a few forums regarding the first SHAC trial and would like to respond to some of the main points.
HYPOCRISY
To start with the hypocrisy charge. Animal rights activists protesting against vivisection, it is argued, still use animal tested products. This is a very fair point which needs addressing to the best [...]

Proportionality and the vilification of the animal rights movement
As we do our best to reduce our carbon footprint instead of central heating (which is for wimps…..only joking) we have a woodburning stove on which kettles are boiled and food cooked throughout the winter. For 2 years now old legal papers from injunctions and all manner [...]

Some of us will be engaging in legal and peaceful protests in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk on the days on which Greg, Natasha, Heather, Gavin, Dan A, Dan W and Gerrah are sentenced for conspiracy to blackmail. Our reasons are as follows:
Animal Rights
Huntingdon Life Sciences kill 500 animals every day each one is an individual capable [...]

NETCU have recently added a news item to their site www.netcu.org.uk concerning the Advertising Standards Authority finding against SPEAK (the campaign to prevent the building of another laboratory in Oxford).
SPEAK quoted directly from the Telegraph but interestingly the ASA have not criticised the newspaper! Whilst the ASA continues to be somewhat biased in the way [...]

Taken from Indymedia UK Thursday June 22nd 2006
Police repression against animal rights protestors at protest at University of Oxford honorary degree ceremony. Five arrested. Numerous people assaulted and injured by Thames Valley who then forcibly moved the demo so it was effectively hidden.
Yesterday, Wednesday 21 June, saw around 30 animal rights protestors arrive in [...]
