Activists arrested for carrying placards

On Saturday 19th August, the first national march and rally was held against B&K Universal. Amongst the police, numerous well known faces of NETCU were present, advising resident officers about how to police the demonstration.

“[NETCU’s] focus is to promote a coordinated, consistent and effective approach to dealing with domestic extremism” – http://www.netcu.org.uk

Extremism?

Two campaigners at the demonstration were arrested for holding placards which showed nothing other than the truth – pictures of what happens inside vivisection labs.

Dozens of other peaceful demonstrators were also threatened with arrest because of images held.

This is yet another prime example of injustice and freedom of speech quashed by NETCU and Blair’s Britain!
